Back in the early 90's, there wasn't a person who had not seen Tremors. It seems like Sc-Fi channel was instant weekend movie ritual. Giant man-eating prehistoric worms in Nevada at a deserted ex-mining compound that holds only fourteen people. Kevin Bacon gives a enjoyable and pleasant comedy to the lead character role. Reba Mcentire provides a solid supporting character as an survivalist couple who corners one of the creatures in a storm of guns and bullets. This movie is a fast moving fun for all ages who like gooey, fleshing eating, and smelly creatures. This movie may not be anyone's top 10 best movies of all time. But its sure is fun entertainment.
Criteria Remake:
- Stick to the story plot but add a twist to the ending
- During my experience in watching movies. There's always a character that is unforgettable. So hollywood please make us wanna remember the characters
- The creatures-monster theme could use a upgrade. Give of special effects that has never been done before.
My Dream Cast: Emily Blunt (Devil's Wear's Prada), Jake Gyllenhaal (Day After Tommrow), Laura Linney (The Big C), Eric Roberts (The Dark Knight), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick Ass).

Kevin bacon is still young enough to play the lead. Or have him play the older wiser co lead, and get someone younger to play the wacky sidekick.
I absolutely luv the tremors movies. they were awesome. i am curious, with our increase of technology, how they would turn out if remade
