Knowing how to write the beginning of a screenplay is arguably the most crucial part of the story. Act One of my screenplay has just begun construction. The opening scene of a film is like a shop window for the potential film producer or agent. Introducing my main character, setting, what she wants, plot and theme will be a challenge. If the first ten pages do not grab the reader, then it is unlikely that the rest of the screenplay will be read.
So I have decided to read these scripts to learn how to fit description and fighting scene's into my screenplay.
